After experimenting with changes to the format for the popular art event, “Wet Paint” last year, the Newport Art Museum is returning to the occasion’s roots as a two-day celebration of shared art-making experiences. “Wet Paint” weekend, sponsored by William Vareika Fine Arts Ltd, is coming up on Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17 in Newport. “Still wet" artworks created by regional artists on Saturday will be sold during silent and live auctions. Proceeds benefit the Museum's extensive education, exhibition and community outreach programs.

A group of us locals from Newport started a group to find people to meet, go out to the bars (Fifth, O'Briens, West Deck, etc), play tennis, go on walks, find romance. If you either live in RI or are planning a visit...come check us out!!

Some hot designers are putting together elegant and exotic wedding table settings and decor for a special champagne reception at the Newport Art Museum this Friday, April 18, 4 - 7 pm. (The Museum is a popular venue for weddings so this is a good chance to check out what's on offer.)
