“Still wet" artworks created by regional artists on Saturday, August 15 will be on view for silent bidding from 6-8 pm that evening during a Preview Reception at the Newport Art Museum, and on Sunday, August 16 from 12-3 pm. A Live Auction begins Sunday, August 16 at 4 pm. Proceeds benefit the Newport Art Museum's extensive education, exhibition and community outreach programs. Join in the fun as an artist, a bidder or both! Artists can download a pre-registration form at www.newportartmuseum.org. Reception price: Members $10; non-members $15. The Museum will be open free of charge Saturday, 10-5. “Wet Paint 2009” is presented by William Vareika Fine Arts Ltd.
