Chamber Music, Ducks, Polo, and Comedy
You can't beat a weekend with this variety. The 2008 Newport Music Festival concludes its 40th season, but it's not too late to catch some fine chamber music played in the beautiful settings of Newport mansions.
Head out to Third Beach on Sunday and sponsor a duck -- a rubber duck -- to help fund grants for unique & creative enrichment programs in Middletown Public Schools. It's free for children and activities include beach games, arts and crafts, hair dye, tattoos, face painting. On Saturday, the Newport Summer Comedy Series continues at Newport Yachting Center with Joel McHale, and the Newport International Polo Series is at Glen Farm.
