Museum of Yachting Exhibits
We can feel the start of the summer season just around the corner. There is still time to visit and enjoy the last few off-season moments before Memorial Day.
A great place to start is at the Museum of Yachting has two exhibitions running through October, but this is a great time to attend. "Imagination in Scale: The Practical Art of Ship and Yacht Models" captures the beauty, artistry, functionality, and painstaking detail of model making. Ever since the race first America’s Cup came to Newport in 1930, the City and race have been connected. "The America’s Cup – The Newport Years" pays tribute to the colorful personalities who came to Newport to battle for the coveted prize.
